Every advertising dashboard can tell you what you spent. None of them knows whether the customer paid. That answer lives in your CRM — in the deals your team closed and the orders that shipped — which is why Obriym reads the ad account into the same workspace as the sales it is meant to produce.
Advertising
This first release is read-only on purpose. Obriym never creates a campaign, never moves a budget and never pauses an ad: it reads your account and shows you what is there. Nothing you see in Ads Manager can be changed from the CRM.
What you get
Campaigns without the export
Campaigns, ad groups and ads are imported automatically and refreshed every hour.
Spend, clicks and cost per click
Daily performance per campaign, with cost per click and click-through rate calculated over the period you are looking at.
Visible when it breaks
If the connection stops working the channel turns red and the owner is notified — a dead connection means budget spending while nobody is watching.
Your managers can see it
Not locked behind developer access: the person running the campaigns can open the numbers without asking anyone.
Read-only, and honest about it
Creating campaigns, editing budgets and pausing ads are deliberately not built yet. When they arrive, every one of them will be off by default and switched on by the workspace owner after a preview — the same rule Obriym already applies to every marketplace it writes to.
Connecting
- 1
Issue an API key
In OpenAI Ads Manager → Settings. The key belongs to one ad account, so Obriym already knows which account to read.
- 2
Add the adapter
Settings → Integrations → Platform Adapters → OpenAI Ads. Enter a name only.
- 3
Paste the key and test
On the adapter page. The test names your account and its currency — that is your confirmation before anything is imported.
- 4
Open Marketing → Advertising
The first sync runs within the hour, then campaigns and spend appear.
How it works technically
- Your API key is issued in OpenAI Ads Manager and stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM); it is never shown again
- A connection test reads your ad account and names it, so you can confirm you connected the right one before any import
- Campaigns, ad groups, ads and daily performance are read every hour
- The last seven days are re-read on every run, because conversions are attributed late and recent numbers keep changing
- Each currency is reported on its own — amounts in different currencies are never added together
Frequently asked
- Can Obriym create or edit my campaigns?
- No. This release only reads. Nothing in your ad account can be changed from the CRM.
- Does it show which orders came from an ad?
- Not yet. Reading the ad account is the first step; connecting a click to the lead, deal and order it produced is the next one, and it is what makes a return figure real rather than a guess from a pixel.
- How current are the numbers?
- Campaigns and performance refresh every hour, and the last seven days are re-read each time — advertising platforms keep revising recent days as conversions are attributed.
- Who on my team can see this?
- Owners, managers and viewers. Connecting the account is a separate permission and stays with the owner or a developer.
- Does it cost extra?
- It is part of the paid plans, like every platform adapter. The Free plan does not include platform adapters.
