A Viber channel is where subscribers who already know you wait for news, new arrivals and offers. Obriym lets you run it without opening the Viber app each time: the post is written once next to your other networks, the preview shows exactly what the channel will receive, and the schedule keeps it going while you work.
What it does
- 01
Text and photos
Publish a post with text and photos into your channel — immediately or at a chosen date and time. The queue is checked every 15 minutes.
- 02
Straight from the product card
Publish a product straight from its card: name, price, link and the product photos — or a generated card with the price.
- 03
No manual photo conversion
Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB. The CRM converts it to the format Viber accepts.
- 04
Drafted by an assistant
The AI assistant inside the CRM, and AI clients such as ChatGPT or Claude over MCP, can draft, schedule and publish the same posts.
How a post looks in the channel
Viber has no albums, so each photo arrives as its own message. Text up to 768 characters becomes the caption of the first photo; a longer text (up to 7,000 characters) follows as a separate message. The editor preview shows this split before you publish.
What to know up front
These are the limits of Viber channels themselves, not of the CRM.
- The channel only receives posts: Viber gives applications no subscriber messages, comments, reactions or view statistics, so nothing comes back into the CRM inbox and no leads are created
- The CRM cannot edit or delete a published post: Viber gives applications no way to do it
- Video posts are not supported yet
- Chatting with buyers in Viber is a different Viber product — see the Viber integration page
Connecting
- 1
Copy the channel token in Viber
In the Viber mobile app: channel info → Developer Tools. Only the channel's super admin sees it. No bot and no paid Viber plan is needed.
- 2
Add Viber Channel in the CRM
Settings → Integrations → add Viber Channel and paste the token.
- 3
Check the connection
The CRM asks Viber and shows the channel name and who the posts will come from.
- 4
Publish a post
Create a post in Marketing → Publications, switch Viber on and hit Publish — or schedule it.
Frequently asked
Do I need a Viber bot or a paid plan?
No. Publishing to a channel needs only the channel's token, which its super admin copies in the Viber mobile app.
Will buyers' replies reach the CRM?
No. Viber does not pass subscriber messages, comments or reactions from a channel to applications, so this channel publishes and never creates leads.
Why does one post turn into several messages?
Viber has no albums: every photo is its own message. A text up to 768 characters is attached to the first photo as its caption; a longer one follows as a separate message.
Can I edit or delete a post after publishing?
Not from the CRM — Viber gives applications no way to do it. Manage published posts in the Viber app itself.
Is it free?
A Viber channel counts as one of the sales channels in your plan. How many channels each plan includes is on the pricing page.
